Siteiya is…

Hey! I’m a Kenyan born lady who has fallen deep… really deeply in love with ART- anything creative is just too cool.

I began my art career in 2011 when I interned for a production house as a production coordinator. As time passed I found myself falling in love with this Art Department.

I did a quick course termed One Fine Day to polish my skills.

Slowly I have moved up the ranks to the position of  Production Designer, having worked as an Art Director, Art Assistant, Set Dresser, Props master, sourcing for props , stand-by art.

Art is a passion that I have grown attached to. Having studied Journalism and practiced it a bit, I believe I’ve found my one true love.

♥I THINK ART IS THE ONE♦

Apart from this also do social media analysis, blogging and a bit of photography.

I love traveling, singing and discovering new ideas as I make new friends

I started the career on a high, working on the first Kenyan Telenovela MALI, that was airing for a local broadcaster, shortly after i worked on the award winning show SHUGA SS1 in between amazing TV commercials

Others projects up my sleeve are 40 STICKS, a Netflix production that won the Best Production Design award in 2020, i worked on SACRED GAMES SS2 on Netflix as the Kenyan production design consult, FAMILY VACATION on Netflix, COLOR STUDIO KENYA a YouTube Global platform, THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NAIROBI SS2 Reunion set, KAM U STAY airing now on DSTV, among many others.

Ive worked on TV & Photography commercials with APPLE INC, AKKOSSET, CAMON, TUSKER, GUINESS among many other Kenyan an International brands.

I’ve also worked on theatre productions, namely TOO EARLY FOR BIRDS, LWANDA ROCKMAN, LWANDA OTERO among others.

I have a team of around 7 who work under ArtSiteiya and annually we take on CSR projects to mentor kids in children homes and take in interns to teach them a thing or two.

Production design has been such a healing journey and I’ve taken many under my wing and mentored them into this colorful world I love, and when done I let them fly.

The main goal is to make TV beautiful as we see those smiles on the viewers faces and the Result of the hard work put in.
