Finally coming around to chat on this one.
A passion project i took up to help a friend come up with making this a reality, the color pallet was very earth tone what they like to say a Tumeric filter, but bringing these sets to life was a miracle. The turn around time was tight, the budget was tighter, but JJ still made one of the best films I’ve seen to date.
The shoot was a challenge, as we had a lot to do in a short time with limited budgets, but there is something about me and my team getting our work on despite the challenges and making it work no matter what, this production was my 1st fund based film, they gave me a bulk figure that I divided with my team and took zero home (not complaining) and they gave their all. The early mornings, late nights and makeshift of props, spaces to make it work is truly a core memory for me.
