I WON! BEST SET DESIGN MACHAWOOD 2019
Last year, we set out to make a short film for the annual MachakosFest short film gala. After a grueling but fulfilling production journey, we were super psyched to find out that our movie had made the top ten finalists’ shortlist, thereby making it viable to compete for the top spot. On November 22, Machawood premiere the 10 films on Youtube.
Although we didn’t win the overall prize, I WON THE BEST SET DESIGN!! among other awards!
This project was a passion project for me, i had missed being on a film set and the story applies to the current government we have.
The reception of the film was AMAZING! and i am forever humbled to have been considered by ChatterBox Film and Theatre.
